Exporting your colormass materials for use in pCon

Download and Import

colormass integrates with the pCon, so your materials are packed in the form pCon expects them. Preparing a material takes a single click (or one operation across an entire collection) and everything it needs travels with it: the full set of texture maps, transparency for sheer and open-weave materials, your material naming, and the material's true real-world dimensions, so patterns and repeats appear at correct scale on furniture in pCon.

Nothing is rebuilt by hand, every package is generated from the scanned master format, so it stays faithful to the physical sample and to each of the other channels your range appears in.

On the colormass platform you need to simply click on the pCon export and download the converted file to use it (see video below).

The colormass platform then packages all the relevant information into a .matz file. This is the file format that pCon can readily read and import, so you can just simply drag it and drop it into pCon to have it available and use it on any of your products as a regular material (see video below).

By using the colormass platform as a single source of truth, you can digitize and manage your data in one central system and export it to multiple programs, such as pCon. This allows you to maintain and edit your data in one place and export it in the format that best fits your needs.
